Corrections Policy
Accurate estimates and transparent limitations are central to EKCal. We welcome specific correction requests.
How to report an error
Email bugridez@gmail.com with the page URL, the statement or number you believe is wrong, and a reliable source or explanation where possible.
What we review
We check formula implementation, units, serving conversions, transcription errors, broken links, misleading wording and material changes in authoritative guidance.
How corrections are made
Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a public note. Material changes to a calculation, safety statement or central conclusion are reviewed across related pages so the same error is not repeated.
What is not necessarily an error
Food values and calorie burn estimates naturally vary. A different app or label does not automatically prove one figure is wrong; it may refer to another brand, recipe, serving state or calculation method.
